Dr. Jennifer Leos was born in Louisiana and spent much of her childhood in the south, but spent the majority of her older youth and adulthood in Southern California. She joined the military after high school and got her first Associate's degree in music and a second in Veterinary Technology. While working as a licensed vet tech, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California, Riverside. She then moved north where she obtained her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from UC Davis Weill School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed a 1-year small animal rotating internship at Pet Emergency and Specialty Center of Marin.
Dr. Leos has worked in a variety of practice settings and enjoys a little bit of everything veterinary medicine has to offer. She has particular interests in soft tissue surgery, feline medicine, internal medicine, and emergency medicine. She is excited to bring top notch primary care to the local community and to work with such a caring, dedicated team at Helena Veterinary Clinic. As a veterinarian fulfilling her decades long dreams, she looks forward every day to the gift of being able to make a difference.
